But it wasn’t just about the drink or the tunes. These were the heart of the community. Places where neighbours gathered, yarns were spun, and talk could turn from the everyday to the stuff that shapes a people.

Back in the day, Sibin's were often a little on the sly, but they gave Irish emigrants and their families a place to feel at home. A place to swap stories, share a laugh and keep the spirit of the old sod alive.
